Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Stallspace is a product of Flow4 (Pty) Ltd (“Flow4,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Stallspace, you agree to these terms. This is version 2026-09-10; we record which version you accepted when you registered.

1. What Stallspace is

Stallspace is a discovery and booking platform that connects buyers with people running side hustles and small businesses (“vendors”) — services booked as appointments, or products bought as orders. Stallspace helps you find each other and keeps a record of the booking or order details. It does not process payments, does not hold funds, and is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a vendor.

We do not vet, verify, endorse or inspect vendors, their listings, their qualifications, their products or their premises. A stall appearing on Stallspace is not a recommendation by Flow4.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account. We ask you to confirm this when you register and we record your answer. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 without that consent, we may suspend or remove it.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at info@flow4.co.za if you think someone else has access to it.

One person, one account. Creating additional accounts to get around a suspension, to post reviews, or to make a stall look busier than it is is a breach of these terms.

3. Vendors

If you list a service or product on Stallspace, you're responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your listing — price, description, duration, availability, and the banking details you publish
  • Actually delivering what you offer, and honouring bookings and orders you accept
  • Arranging payment directly with the buyer — Stallspace plays no part in this
  • Holding any licence, permit, registration or insurance your work requires
  • Complying with any laws applicable to your business, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies to you

Listing on Stallspace does not make you an employee, agent, partner or representative of Flow4, and nothing here creates a joint venture between us.

4. Buyers

When you book or order through Stallspace, you're entering into an arrangement directly with the vendor. Stallspace is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, timing or fulfilment of anything a vendor offers.

Use your own judgement. Check what you're buying, agree the details in writing on WhatsApp, and be cautious about paying in advance for anything, particularly with a vendor who is new to the platform.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. Deleting removes your profile, your bookings and orders, your reviews, and — if you're a vendor — your stall, its listings and its photos.

You can't delete while you have a booking or order in progress: cancel or complete those first, so the other person isn't left waiting. Deletion is permanent and we can't undo it.

We keep our moderation and security log after deletion. It records that an account was created, suspended or deleted and when, without the personal details of the person it belonged to. We keep it because we need it to investigate fraud and resolve disputes — see the Privacy Policy for how long.

6. Payments, deposits and refunds

Stallspace does not process payments. All payment happens directly between buyer and vendor, using whatever method the vendor has listed — EFT, cash, an instant-payment app, or anything else they arrange with you. We never see, hold, verify or guarantee any of it.

Only ever pay the banking details shown on the vendor's page in Stallspace. Flow4 will never ask you to pay a different account, and never asks for payment itself. If anyone — including someone claiming to be the vendor, or claiming to be from Stallspace — asks you to pay into a different account, stop and report it to us. We flag it in the app when a vendor changes their banking details recently, but we cannot catch every case.

Deposits, refunds, cancellation charges and late fees are entirely between you and the vendor. We are not liable for any payment dispute, non-payment, overpayment, misdirected payment or fraud arising from a transaction between users.

7. Communication on WhatsApp

Bookings, orders and related communication happen on WhatsApp, using your own WhatsApp account. Stallspace never sends WhatsApp messages on your behalf — when you tap a “message” button we open WhatsApp on your own device with the text prepared, and you choose whether to send it.

Once a booking or order exists between you, the other party's first name and WhatsApp number become visible to each of you, so you can coordinate. That exchange is the core of how Stallspace works; if you're not willing to share a number with the person you're transacting with, don't transact.

We do not monitor, store or have access to those conversations, and we are not responsible for what is said in them. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms, which apply to your use of it.

8. Content you post

You keep ownership of everything you upload — photos, descriptions, reviews, your stall name. By posting it you give Flow4 a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, display and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting Stallspace. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we're required to keep for the reasons in clause 5.

You confirm you have the right to post what you post. Don't upload other people's photos, logos or copy as if they were yours.

You may not post content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or advertises something you can't actually deliver
  • Is illegal, or offers goods or services that are illegal to sell
  • Is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or targets someone
  • Impersonates another person or business, or misrepresents who you are
  • Contains someone else's personal information without their permission

We may remove content that breaches these terms, and we may do it without notice where there's a risk to other users.

9. Reviews

Reviews can only be left by someone who actually completed a booking or order with that vendor, one review per transaction, and they are public. You can delete a review you wrote.

Reviews must be your genuine experience. Vendors may not write reviews of their own stall, ask friends or family to post reviews of transactions that didn't happen, offer any incentive in exchange for a review, or pressure a buyer into removing one. We may remove reviews we believe are fake, incentivised or retaliatory, and we may suspend accounts that post them.

10. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Stallspace to:

  • Defraud anyone, or attempt to — including taking payment with no intention of delivering
  • Harass, threaten, stalk or discriminate against another user
  • Misrepresent who you are, or who you're acting for
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-collect other users' details, listings or contact information
  • Probe, attack, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or anyone's account
  • Circumvent a suspension, or these terms

11. Reporting problems

Every stall, listing and user can be reported from within the app. A report goes to a Stallspace admin — nothing is removed or suspended automatically. We'll email you when your report is reviewed and you can follow it under “Your reports” in your Profile.

We investigate what we reasonably can. We can't tell you what happened to someone else's account beyond confirming that we acted, because that's their personal information.

If you believe a crime has been committed, report it to the SAPS as well. We will cooperate with a lawful request from the police or a court.

12. Disputes between users

A dispute about a booking, an order, payment, quality or delivery is between the buyer and the vendor. Flow4 is not an adjudicator, arbitrator, escrow agent or insurer, and we will not decide who is right.

What we can do is give either party the record we hold of the transaction — what was booked, for how much, when it was confirmed and completed, and what each side recorded — on request from the person who was party to it. That record is written by our systems rather than by either of you, and it cannot be edited after the fact.

13. Our role and limitation of liability

Stallspace is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any vendor or buyer is who they say they are.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flow4 is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from a transaction, dispute, payment or interaction between users, from reliance on information provided by another user, or from your use of or inability to use Stallspace. Where we are liable despite this, our total liability to you is limited to R1 000.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by South African law, including liability for gross negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

You agree to indemnify Flow4 against claims brought by a third party arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your transactions with other users.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove an account, a stall or a listing that breaches these terms or is used for fraudulent, harmful or illegal activity. A suspended stall is hidden from Stallspace and cannot take new bookings or be edited.

If we suspend you, we'll tell you in the app and give you the reason, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or we're prevented by law. You can appeal by emailing info@flow4.co.za from the address on the account, and we'll review it. A suspension doesn't hide your existing bookings from the people you already dealt with, and you can still cancel so they aren't left waiting.

We may also suspend or withdraw the whole service, or any part of it, at any time.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Stallspace grows. The version number and date at the top change when we do. Where a change materially affects your rights we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, you can delete your account.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
